GOD'S HATE LIST

*For mobile devices, this page is best viewed in the desktop view.

Did you know that God hates?  You may have heard the expression, "God hates the sin, but loves the sinner." Although that is not a biblical statement per se, it has been accepted as a true statement.  However, careful study of scripture does not lead to this conclusion.  A good example of this is found in the following passages from the Bible:

Leviticus 20:22-23 - You are therefore to keep all My statutes and ordinances, so that the land where I am bringing you to live will not vomit you out. You must not follow the statutes of the nations I am driving out before you. Because they did all these things, I abhorred them.

Leviticus 20:13 - If a man lies with a man as with a woman, they have both committed an abomination. They must surely be put to death; their blood is upon them.

The definition of abhor means to regard with extreme repugnance: to feel hatred or loathing for.  Similar, an abomination is something regarded with disgust or hatred : something abominable.  Some common synonyms include loathsome, hateful, detestable, or abhorrent.
